Brief description :  All works are dry pigment on paper (or pigment ink and dry pigment). In some cases, the sheet is mounted on dibond or a wood panel prior to being worked on; more infrequently, the mounting is done after completion of the piece.
Pigment may be occasionally be used in pure form, but more typically is obtained by grating or crushing pastel blocks or sticks into powder and fragments of varying coarseness and homogeneity. It is applied by dispersion over the paper, rubbed into the surface with hands and fingers, spread, layered and worked on in various ways. When pigment ink is involved, it is in order to create a ground produced with a digital printer.
