Brief description :  All works are dry pigment on paper. In some cases, the sheet is mounted on dibond or a wood panel prior to being worked on (more infrequently, the mounting may be done after completion of the piece).
Pigment may be used in pure form or, more typically, be obtained from pastel blocks turned into powder form by grating or by some other grinding or crushing method. It is applied by dispersion over the paper, rubbed into the surface with hands and fingers, spread, layered and worked on in various ways. Color may also sometimes be applied in a more “standard” fashion, using pastel sticks directly.
